Here’s my piece for Pokemon: Battle Royale doods!! Machamp has always been one of my favorite Pokemon, so I was tooootally pumped (get it?) to draw him for the show! Screenprints of these are going to be sold at the show for $40 a pop, and will be limited to 20 prints total (10 of which will be available at the show, the remaining 10 I’m going to hold on to till after the show to sell online/at SPX).
This show is going to rule, and I’m sooo excited about all the incredible work I’ve been seeing online for it!!
hey bro your shits looking so mental, how do you get your stuff from sketches and drawings to epic looking pictures with perfect lines and colours?
Thanks dood!! I like to draw and ink everything by hand, and then scan it in and color it in Photoshop. I draw everything out on smooth bristol in non-photo blue pencil, and then ink it with a thin brush using sumi ink. I scan everything in at a high resolution and then add colors and hand-done textures in Photoshop. I also play a ton of Streets of Rage 2 in between each step.
Hey dude, Im desperately rushing to finish up my BITS piece and it will definitely be done tonight, but im not sure if itll be done before it hits march 1st in your time zone. If its a few hours late will you still accept it?
No worries! Take your time! The deadline is a little flexible, so if you, or anyone else for that matter, needs to get me your piece by tomorrow don’t stress out about it! It’s allllll coooooollll!
Aaack! I just found out about your magazine today, and I have an illustration I want to submit. I know the deadline said the 28th, but can I still try to get something in a day late? Aldfjldk I don't expect a yes, but I'm asking anyway, I'm sorry. D:
Send it my way! The deadline got pushed back 1 day anyway, so you’re still ok to submit! My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
I wish I could've talked to you when I was at MICA but I was just a dumb baby freshman. Your stuff is so awesome. It's so refreshing.
Thanks a ton! I’m really glad to hear that you dig my work, and wanted to let you know that I looked through your stuff and love it! Were you in any of Daniel Krall’s classes? I think I may have been a guest artist in a class of his that you might have been in.
