Now that my Kickstarter is finished up and I’ve completed and mailed out all of the ink drawings that went with the higher tiers, I’m going to post one a day here on tumblr!
To start out, here’s Bad Mr. Frosty from Clayfighter!
Here a new shirt that will be available at Pizza Party Printing’s showing of one of my all time favorite movies ever in history, Return of the Living Dead on Sunday the 25th! Tarman is the COOLEST!!!
So, I had some time to kill and decided to draw a party of adventurers for fun on Post-It notes as a stupid little drawing/character exercise! It was a lot of fun drawing these guys as fast as possible, with no pre-sketches, and trying to figure out what their deals were and how they knew each other as I was drawing them.
I drew a hot-headed yet well-intentioned knight, a worn-out but dutiful cleric, a not-so-good at his job thief, a tough as nails amazon ranger, and a wild-card “is he good or is he bad? (he’s probably bad)” necromancer.
You better believe that cleric hates having to travel around with that necromancer.
Gaming Illustrations by Jimmy Giegerich / Blog / Tumblr
Saw a bunch of gaming illustrations I did one day last year pop up in my feed this morning! These guys are what got the gears rolling for me to put together Bits in Multiples of 8!!!
Rad Cat and Bad Dog. Look at how psyched these two gnarly doods are! I basically drew something that I would have on a shirt back in the 80’s when I was a kid.
Here’s a couple of shirts I did over the weekend! First is a Phantasm 2 design for Pizza Party Printing’s showing of Phantasm 2 at the Ottobar next weekend!
I also did one for Mondo Baltimore’s showing of one of my favorite pieces of Italian trash cinema: 1990: The Bronx Warriors! If you put Mad Max, The Warriors, Escape From New York, and a full garbage can in the teleporter from the movie The Fly, The Bronx Warriors is what would come out!
I inked and then colored this cool punk vampire as a demonstration for the sophomores that I teach at MICA!
